MOAB - For those who have never been there, this tiny Utah town is a magical place. Surrounded by massive natural red rock formations, the climbing, mountain biking and hiking are like no other place in the world.

Unfortunately, the tourist-based economy is not as glowing so locals are forced, or better stated, inspired to be as industrious and creative as possible. That's what Andy Ryan  learned to do when he created his line of high-grade pens each individually hand-crafted from some of the rarest of stones and dinosaur bone. Over time, this fascination with rare gems, gems, stones and fossils made Ryan's pens a gem of their own, coveted by collectors writers and pen officianados around the world.

But Ryan also had another dream. As a child, he was trained as an opera singer but had to give up this first love when another love, his daughter, was born. Then at age 60, he started singing again, and recently recorded an outstanding CD,  all achieved not by raising heaps of investment capital, but by following several of our marketing principles outlined in the book.
